Insert it just below the scraped area to optimize the tip opening, or lower its position for precise control. You can even slide it down onto the reed and play with it attached to prevent the reed from opening up during practice.
Compatible with European, American, and Oboe d'Amore reeds, it is compact enough to stay clamped inside your reed box for permanent storage.
Simply soak your reed for two minutes, slide the clamp on from the side, and let it dry overnight. Soak again with the clamp on before playing for an instantly responsive, comfortable reed.
