Having recently visited Loree in Paris, I chose this fantastic Loree Etoile Oboe in Violet Wood.
It plays beautifully, with a silky rich full tone throughout the whole compass. Intonation is very accurate with ease of projection.
In addition it is lighter than a Black wood Oboe, yet still possesses power and great flexibilty.
Well worth comparing to other models and makes.
